Both bad rounds are wedge distances. That's the lesson.

VOICE NOTE 0:42

A swing video ends at the lesson. The scorecard doesn't.

01

You see one swing a month.

They play twelve rounds and hit two thousand balls between lessons. None of it reaches you, so every session starts by asking how it has been going.

02

Video can't tell you the cost.

A steep angle of attack is a fact. Whether it cost them four shots on approach last month is the thing you actually need to teach against.

03

The work goes unmeasured.

You give them something to practise and find out whether it worked from a story, not from the strokes. So does the student.

THEIR WHOLE GAME

Every round and session, one timeline.

You see what happened between lessons — what they practised, whether it held up on the course, and what it did to their handicap.

LESSON REVIEW

Mark up the game, not just the swing.

Every chart, plot and round in a student's account is a surface you can draw on, talk over and send back. This is the part no video app does.

01 — HIGHLIGHT A CHART

Circle the pattern they can't see.

Draw straight onto a dispersion plot, a gapping ladder or a strokes-gained chart. Your mark saves with the data, so it's still there when they open it at the range.

DISPERSION — 7 IRON · 142 BALLS AVG MISS 4.1 YDS LEFT × × × × × ×

Every miss is the same side. This is aim, not swing.

02 — VOICE-ANNOTATE A ROUND

Talk them through the hole that cost them.

Open any round, drop a voice note on the shot that went wrong, and pin it to that spot on the hole. They hear your read while looking at their own ball flight.

Every review pass saves as a lesson.

The marks, the voice notes and the data they were drawn on stay together. Reopen any lesson months later and it's exactly as you left it — so you can show a student what you told them in March and what it did by June.

WHY IT'S FREE

We don't need to charge the coach twice.

Golfers pay for AVA. Coaches make golfers better, and better golfers stay. Charging you a second time for the same data would cost us more than it earns.

Questions

Is it really free for coaches?

Yes. The coach product costs nothing, has no trial period and never asks for a card. Golfers pay for AVA; charging you for the same data on top of that would cost us more in lost coaches than it earns.

What do my students need?

An AVA account and at least one connected source — a round tracker, a launch monitor, or a CSV export. They can share as much or as little as they want, and revoke it whenever they like.

Do I have to stop using my current video app?

No. Plenty of coaches keep filming where they film and use AVA for the data their video app can't see. If you'd rather consolidate, swing analysis is included here too.

Where does the round data come from?

From whatever your student already plays with — Garmin, Golf Pad and other supported trackers sync automatically. Launch monitors and simulators come in by file, and GHIN keeps the handicap current.

Can I see a student's data before a lesson?

That's the point. Their roster card shows what's changed since you last met, sorted by strokes lost, so you can walk in already knowing what the session is about.

Who owns the data?

The golfer does. They grant you access and can revoke it whenever they like. You can't see anyone who hasn't connected to you, and nothing is shared with a club or a third party.

Is there a limit on students?

No. Roster size is unlimited and there is no per-seat charge, whether you teach six players or two hundred.

What happens to my lessons if I leave?

You can export your lesson history and notes at any time. Nothing is held hostage, and your students keep their own accounts either way.
