    Your assistant's own plan decides whether custom connectors are available to you. Check with your assistant if you don't see the option.

    Sign in to AVA Golf.

    Your assistant opens AVA Golf's sign-in page. Sign in the way you usually do. If you're already signed in, you go straight to the next step.

    Review and allow.

    AVA Golf shows which assistant is asking and exactly what it would read. Choose Allow to finish, or Deny to send it back without access.

  4. 04

    Ask about your game.

    Head back to your assistant and ask it something about your golf. Your priorities make a good first question.

Privacy and control

Your data stays yours.

  • Read-only

    Your assistant can read your data. It can't create, change or delete anything in your account.

  • Only what you allow

    It sees your own data and nobody else's, limited to what you approved when you connected it.

  • Disconnect any time

    Settings → Connections → Connected apps lists every assistant you've connected. Revoke one and it loses access on its next request.

  • Nothing to paste

    You sign in to AVA Golf and approve the connection. There's no API key to create, copy or keep safe.

FAQ

AI connector questions

Which AI assistants work with AVA Golf?

Any assistant that supports custom connectors (remote MCP servers) and signs in with OAuth. That includes Claude and ChatGPT, plus desktop apps and code editors such as Claude Desktop, Cursor and VS Code.

Do I need an AVA Golf membership?

Yes. The connector is part of every AVA Golf membership at no extra cost, and it needs the membership to be active. A new membership starts with 14 days free, then $25 a month or $150 a year. Your assistant's own plan decides whether custom connectors are available to you.

Can my assistant change anything in my account?

No. The connection is read-only. Your assistant can read your data, but nothing is ever written to your account. If an assistant offers to change something in AVA Golf, that's the assistant's own suggestion, not something it can do.

What data can it see?

Only your own: the rounds, practice sessions, shots, bag, handicap, swing profile, performance map, trends and priorities listed above, limited to what you allowed on the approval screen. It can't see anyone else's data.

How do I disconnect it?

In AVA Golf, go to Settings → Connections → Connected apps and choose Revoke. It takes effect on your assistant's very next request, and the assistant would need your approval again to reconnect. Disconnecting doesn't touch your data, your device connections or your account.

My assistant says it needs another permission. What do I do?

Your assistant asked for less than everything when it connected. Revoke it under Settings → Connections → Connected apps, connect it again, and allow everything it asks for.
