AVA INTELLIGENCE

One Trackman 4 session in. Your gapping cost you more than your strike did. A 6-yard hole between the 7 and 8-iron leaves 17 yards below it that nothing covers.

Bring your Trackman sessions in

No account needed. Export a session report from Trackman, drop the CSV here with your email address, and AVA reads every shot in it — carry, dispersion, strike quality, gapping and club delivery — then emails you the analysis, scored the same way as your on-course rounds.

Drop your Trackman export here A CSV session report from the Trackman app or the web portal. The short 21-column export and the full 30-plus-column one both read, and so does a French-locale export in km/h and metres. .csv only, up to 5 MB.
We send the analysis to this address.
Emailing you the report creates a contact record for your address, and we may send you product email. Unsubscribe any time. Privacy policy Your file is read once, then deleted from storage within 30 days, along with the report link it produced. Nothing is shared with a coach, a club or anyone else unless you send them the link yourself.

TRACKMAN 4 + AVA GOLF

Turn your Trackman 4 sessions into lower scores

Outdoors is where the carry numbers are real

Radar measures flight, so the more flight it sees the less it has to model. On a range with two hundred yards in front of the unit, a Trackman 4 is measuring rather than inferring almost everything in the file.

That makes an outdoor Trackman session the best gapping data you will ever generate. Not an approximation of your carry numbers. They are your carry numbers.

AVA weights it accordingly. Where an indoor session sets your strike baseline and defers on yardages, an outdoor Trackman 4 session sets the ladder itself.

Run a combine, then run it again

A combine is the most underrated thing available to an amateur on this unit. Fixed distances, fixed shot count, a single score, which means it is repeatable, and repeatable is the only property that makes a number a trend.

One combine tells you where you are. Four combines across a season tells you whether the work is working, which is the question everyone actually has and almost nobody has evidence for.

AVA treats combines as benchmarks rather than as ordinary sessions, so March and July get compared to each other and to the rounds you played in between.

Forty parameters, three decisions

The failure mode of this much data is a technical conversation that never reaches the golf course. A golfer leaves with a note about attack angle and no idea that their 8-iron and 7-iron cover the same six yards.

Both facts are in the file. Only one of them is on the scorecard, and AVA's ranking is what keeps them in the right order.

Every measure is converted into strokes against a scratch baseline, which puts delivery, gapping and strike decay on one comparable scale. Sometimes the output of a tour-grade session is 'take one more club into the green', and that is the correct output.

Trackman 4 questions, answered

Do I need to own the unit?

No. If you hit at a Trackman range, a fitter or a coach's studio and the shots were recorded under your own account, the session is in your history and exports as a CSV.

Is outdoor data better than indoor?

For gapping, meaningfully. Radar measures flight, so more flight means less modelling. Indoors a Trackman is still an excellent strike and delivery tool. See the iO page for that case.

Are combines worth running?

They are the best benchmark available to you. Fixed conditions make them repeatable, and repeatable is what turns a score into a trend. AVA tracks combines as their own series.

Which parameters does AVA report on?

The ones moving your score: gapping, dispersion, strike quality and the delivery pair behind your habitual miss. The rest feed trends rather than crowding the read.

Does AVA change anything in my Trackman account?

No. AVA reads the file you export and never writes back. Your sessions and combines stay exactly as they are.
